The .45 ACP and 9mm 1911 Garrison Target pistols take the classic and proven 1911 design and add a high-quality adjustable rear sight for competition-minded applications. The result is a rock-solid 1911 with forged steel construction, modern upgrades and the strength to provide a lifetime of service.
To ensure maximum downrange accuracy, the sturdily built steel adjustable rear sight unit offers full windage and elevation adjustments. In addition, its rear face is black and serrated to help disperse sunlight and ensure a solid sight picture. The front sight features a high-visibility white dot. A set of attractively checkered thinline wood grips ensure a solid hold on the pistol.
As with all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols, the new Garrison Target models in .45 ACP and 9mm feature forged steel construction in their carbon steel slides and frames, ensuring durability and strength. The 5" barrel, constructed of forged stainless steel, is match-grade for maximum downrange accuracy.
Both the .45 ACP and 9mm versions come with a high-quality steel magazine, with the blued steel .45 magazine offering a 7+1 capacity. The 9mm magazine, constructed of stainless steel, offers a 9+1 capacity. MSRP for both models is $899.
