Team Beretta Excels at 2022 NE Regional Championship and Western Challenge

Accokeek, MD (September 2, 2022) Team Beretta shooters recently achieved fifteen podium wins during several recent regional competitions, including the 2022 Northeast Regional Championship held at Hopkins Game Farm in Kennedyville, MD and the 2022 Western Challenge held at Gallatin Sporting Clays in Three Forks, MT.

Team Beretta members in attendance at the NE Regional included Zachary Kienbaum, Diane Sorantino, Joseph Fanizzi, Anthony Matarese, Jr., and Jared Greenwood. Kienbaum and Desirae Edmunds were the only Team Beretta members attending the Western Challenge.

Kienbaum, who competes with a Beretta DT11 Sporting, achieved two runner-up podium wins in the main and FITASC events with scores of 193/200 and 189/200, respectively.

Sorantino, who shoots with a Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting, brought home a runner-up podium win (and consecutive Lady Veteran Champion podium win) in the main event with a score of 179 out of 200 targets.

Fanizzi obtained a junior third-place podium win in the main event, scoring 190 out of 200 targets. He also brought home two additional runner-up titles in FITASC and 5 Stand events with scores of 182/200 and 98/100, respectively.

At the 2022 Western Challenge, Kienbaum achieved an HOA Champion title in the main event with an exceptional score of 196 targets out of 200. He also obtained a third-place, a runner-up, and a champion podium win in the FITASC, 5 Stand, and Super Sporting events with scores of 95/100, 47/50, and 50/50, respectively.

Edmunds brought home five lady champion podium wins in the main, FITASC, preliminary, 5 Stand, and Super Sporting events with scores of 180/200, 94/100, 93/100, 43/50, and 49/50, respectively.

Team Beretta athletes will continue their season at the upcoming Southeast Regional Championship held at Cross Creek Clays in Palmyra, TN, from September 6-11, 2022.
