Friday, May 5, 2023 – Atlanta, GA – TAC Vanes, maker of the world’s most accurate vanes, shooters locked in three first-place finishes, one second-place finish, and two third-place finishes at Camp Minden in Louisiana this past weekend. And despite very rainy weather, shooters across all classes were able to perform at the top of their game.
The Open, Women’s and Known Pro classes showed strong competition. In the Open Pro, Chance Beaubouef finished first shooting the 2.25” Driver, 4-fletched. Levi Morgan finished second shooting the 2.75” Driver, 4-fletched.
On the women’s side, Cara Kelly secured a first-place podium finish, shooting the 2.25”, 4-fletched. Kelly finished two spots ahead of Sharon Wallace who, shooting the 1.75” Matrix 4-fletched, came in third.
And finally, in the Known Pro, Curtis Broadnax, who lives right down the road from TAC headquarters, saw the top of the podium for the first time shooting in the Pro class. Broadnax shot the 2.75” Drive, 3-fletched. Finishing third was Matthew Burns who was shooting the 2.25” Driver, 4-fletched.
