Inspired to create an online community for women in waterfowl, Anna V shared her dream with Brad Heidel, Delta Waterfowl, at a Eukanuba sporting dogs event. The overwhelming support from Delta Waterfowl led to the birth of AVO’s Women of Waterfowl, a series of events dedicated to empowering women in the industry.

The inaugural event of the Women of Waterfowl Series was an astounding success, exceeding all expectations. Within just 48 hours, all 100 available spots were filled, demonstrating the immense interest and enthusiasm among women for this unique opportunity. Participants eagerly embraced the chance to learn more about themselves, their gear, and their dogs, as Anna V shared her journey and expertise in building hunting and shooting skills. Throughout the event, questions poured in, showcasing the participants' eagerness to absorb knowledge and engage in meaningful discussions. The event concluded with a round table discussion, providing a platform for participants to connect, share experiences, and further deepen their understanding of waterfowl hunting. Anna V and her team are committed to continuing the conversation and answering questions in future sessions, as well as through engaging Instagram posts between event dates.
