Washington, D.C. – The Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports (Council) has officially launched the registration platform for the 2024 National R3 Symposium.
Scheduled from May 29 to June 1, 2024, at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel in Mobile, Alabama, this year's annual Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation (R3) event will bring together professionals from agencies, non-governmental organizations, and industries nationwide.
The symposium aims to delve into comprehensive discussions focused on securing the future of hunting, target shooting, angling, boating, and conservation.
Executive Director Dr. Steven Leath emphasized, "The National R3 Symposium holds a significant position among R3 events in the nation. It serves as a tangible expression of our steadfast commitment to R3 professionals as well as to our valued stakeholders in the shooting sports and the hunting and fishing professions.”
The Council will once again host the rapid-fire R3minutes, allowing professionals to share their top projects, success stories, and lessons learned in a spirited competition. Abstracts for consideration are due by April 30. Further details can be found on the R3minutes page.
In collaboration with the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF), the Council will provide R3 foundational training during the symposium. Both new and experienced practitioners are encouraged to attend at no additional cost. This session aims to establish a solid foundation, impart an understanding of R3 principles and strategies, and inspire success in implementing R3 programs.
Symposium registration is priced at $475, with an early-bird rate of $425 available for those securing their spot by March 31. The registration fee includes access to all sessions, networking socials, and event-provided meals. To register, visit the registration page.
