Silencer Central announced that South Dakota's legislature unanimously voted to deregulate suppressors, removing them from the state's controlled weapons definition. Founder and CEO Brandon Maddox stated the company is working with the National Shooting Sports Foundation to support similar legislation in other states and pursue full federal deregulation.

The United States Senate unanimously passed the Duck Stamp Modernization Act - legislation to make the Federal Duck Stamp more accessible for waterfowl hunters by authorizing the electronic stamp for use throughout the entire waterfowl hunting season.
