Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife Donates $609K to Wildlife

2011-12-30

NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah — Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife (SFW) recently donated $609,365 to the Utah Division of Wildlife for 65 wildlife habitat improvement projects recently completed.

SFW President Byron Bateman commented, “It’s very rewarding to see results in wildlife conservation and habitat improvement accumulate to such a significant level. At a time when federal and local governments are allocating less and less funds for wildlife protection, SFW members’ sacrifices of time, money and other resources are paying big dividends. Mule deer, elk, bison, bighorn sheep and other species have a brighter future thanks to the few sportsmen who care enough to take action.”
