Outdoor America Names Mike Scrip as VP/General Manager of Consumer Products and eCommerce

Outdoor America continues its business growth initiative with the recent addition of Mike Scrip, who joins the network as Vice President/General Manager of Consumer Products and eCommerce. The announcement was made today by Outdoor America CEO Nick Rhodes.

Scrip joins Outdoor America after spending the last four years at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he served as Category Manager. Scrip was responsible for oversight of all purchases in archery and hunting, while guiding buyers in hunting and shooting categories, as well as enhancing merchandising strategies and streamline assortments. He also spent time as Senior Category Director at Plano Synergy Holdings, innovating and directing product lifecycles across multiple divisions.

At Outdoor America, Scrip will bring valuable industry knowledge to his position through strategic leadership in retail operations, buying and product lifecycle management. Scrip also is well-versed in elevating sales, pioneering innovative products and enhancing merchandising strategies. Through his extensive experience and innovative approach, Scrip will not only expand the Outdoor America vision but also refine the user experience, making it more intuitive, engaging, and aligned with customers' expectations.

Besides being an avid hunter and fisher, Scrip enjoys coaching Little League Baseball and spending time with his wife and family. He is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business management.

Outdoor America offers a Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) service that provides free access to pre-programmed video channels in exchange for watching ads during pre-scheduled breaks. FAST TV works like traditional television but over the internet.
