Attention Hunters: Montana FWP is holding a Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) public training clinic in Great Falls on Tuesday Nov. 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Stop in anytime during those hours at the FWP Region 4 office at 4600 Giant Springs Road to learn more about CWD and how to properly collect your own samples to submit for free testing after harvesting a deer or elk.

If you have an animal you would like to have tested please bring it along with you, or Jenna Davis, FWP’s CWD coordinator will have a few animals for you to observe how to properly collect a sample. In addition to this P.Y.O.L.N. (pull your own lymph nodes) training, Davis will also answer questions about CWD and FWP’s efforts to combat its spread.
