The creation of the V2 pattern was done by using a new Veil proprietary technology called the Biome Engine™. When setting out to develop V2, Veil knew that the pattern had to be a significant improvement from what is already available in the market, and had to offer something tangibly better for the Scheel’s customer base. It had to have the ability to function in multiple environments and seasons and retain the ability to work with multiple species of animals-all in a meaningfully new and exciting way. The Biome Engine™ was the answer. This technology utilizes machine learning and technological advances to understand what specific natural environments look like and apply them. It then re-designs these applications into camouflage patterns so they can function at a much higher level.

The process of development of the Biome Engine™ was over a year long. It is the most powerful tool for concealment ever created, all by Veil.
