Wichita State University is located in Wichita, KS, and was founded in 1895. A student lead marketing agency by the name of “Shock Starter” was created just last year through the school, to help meet the needs of local Wichita businesses while simultaneously allowing students to gain real world-experience and further their skillsets. Starting as a group of five, Shock Starter was originally just working with different major departments in the university to help market their individual needs. Eventually, word spread about the student lead organization, and it is now a large group that is actively helping many local businesses in the Wichita area. They offer a variety of services such as graphic design, website design, animation, videography, and more.
