Tempe, AZ – Armasight, a leader in thermal and night vision technology, has announced a major expansion of its U.S. manufacturing and service operations. The company has expanded its facility footprint by more than 10,000 square feet and significantly increased its in-house machining and testing capabilities, resulting in a 25% boost in production throughput.
The new space and equipment upgrades are part of Armasight’s ongoing commitment to deliver faster lead times, greater manufacturing precision, and enhanced product reliability. The expanded machine shop now includes two live-tool CNC lathes with bar feeders, three vertical milling machines with 4th-axis capability, and a full complement of manual machining equipment.
To ensure the highest standards of durability and accuracy, Armasight has also added advanced tools for product testing and development, including:
- Environmental temperature chamber for rigorous performance testing across extreme thermal conditions
- 3D rapid-prototyping systems capable of printing in multiple engineering-grade plastics
- Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for critical-dimension inspection of precision-machined components
