Knutson said it was an easy choice to launch DEADSET with the Agility Performance Gunstock that Boyds introduced in 2022 as a modernized version of a traditional gunstock.

“The Agility is one of my favorite gunstocks,” Knutson said. “It was designed as an updated version of the gunstock that millions of people used on their first rifle. Looking at the shape, you can still see the traditional design of the stock. We added some functional aspects, such as changing the grip angle slightly as well as incorporating modern lines. As the design progressed, we realized that our modernizations turned into a group of performance-enhancing features.”
