AUSTIN, Texas — Rallying sportsmen to defend and preserve their outdoor American traditions, the Outdoor Patriot Show (www.OutdoorPatriot.com) announces its new Twitter feed at www.Twitter.com/OutdoorPatriot that provides daily news, links and information on important issues that threaten our American outdoor traditions.
The Outdoor Patriot podcast features news, lively commentary and guests, and the new Outdoor Patriot Twitter feed now combines with the show’s distribution on www.OutdoorPatriot.com, Apple iTunes and Facebook to help sportsmen stay informed on private property, gun ownership and hunting rights from. The Outdoor Patriot Twitter feed also gives quick ‘Tofu Terrorists’ reports on the animal rights activists’ latest attempts to strip away our outdoor heritage.
“There is so much happening today that can dramatically impact our hunting heritage and most sportsmen never hear about it, let alone have a chance to act upon it. So, we’re very excited to add the new Twitter feed to our arsenal,” says John Meng, host of Outdoor Patriot. “When private property rights are threatened, we want to let land owners know. When the anti’s try again to sneak in hunting-ban legislation, we want tell hunters so we have chance to defeat it. Preserving our American outdoor traditions begins with education and a steady stream of information and Twitter will help us get the word out.”
Recent shows have featured former NFL player Steve McKinney who now owns McKinney Whitetails; Darren La Sorte, national hunting policy manager for the NRA; and Shawn Schafer, executive director of the North American Deer Farmers Association.
