The Hunting Wire is kicking things up as we roll into summer. Over the next several months, look for stories about several adventures, including this week's - Mountains, Meat, and Meaning at Glen Dene, part of our Guide and Outfitter Series with Dallas Safari Club.

Next week, we'll dive back into Lever Gun Chronicles and have some fun things to tell you there. Then it's on to more bears, my adventures with the "Tahr Stag," and much more.

In the meantime, we hope you had a safe and family-filled Father's Day weekend. We know one veteran's father who most certainly did, thanks to the kindness and generosity of our outdoor community and his family.
