TUCSON, Ariz. - Following its highly successful 38th Annual Hunters’ Convention in Reno, Nev., Safari Club International has announced the dates and venues for the 2011 through 2015 Conventions. The annual event will return to Reno in 2011 and then alternate between Las Vegas and Reno from 2012 through 2015.
The venues and dates for the next four years are:
Las Vegas on February 8 - 11, 2012
Reno on January 16 - 19, 2013
Las Vegas - Dates to be determined
Reno - January 28-31, 2015
SCI has signed an agreement with the Reno Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA) that will bring the SCI annual Hunters’ Convention back to Reno in 2013 and 2015. The announcement was good news for the Reno-Sparks communities and for SCI which enjoys great community support in Reno. The city is also a great draw for SCI members.
The 2010 Convention was the second highest revenue generating Convention ever with nearly 18,000 attendees, over 2,000 booth spaces and 650,000 square feet of exhibit space.
