DALLAS — Congratulations are in order for three Lone Star Outdoor News writers.
At the Texas Outdoor Writers Association awards held in McAllen, David Sikes of Corpus Christi won first place for a Newspaper Feature for "Moon Waters" in the Feb. 24, 2006 issue of Lone Star Outdoor News.
Ralph Winningham of San Antonio won first place in News Reporting for "Dove Days of Summer" in the Sept. 8, 2006 issue, and Danno Wise of Port Isabel won first place, also in News Reporting, for "TPW Mulls Cut in Coastal Trout Limit" in the June 9, 2006 edition.
