American Deer & Wildlife Alliance Promotes Free Hunt at the Dallas Safari Club Show

2009-12-28

AUSTIN, Texas — Serving to promote the deer and wildlife industry, the American Deer and Wildlife Alliance (ADWA) will attend the Dallas Safari Club’s annual convention on January 7-10 at the Dallas Convention Center. At the show, ADWA will feature a special give-away that includes a Gold Medal Fallow Deer Hunt at the Texas Hunt Lodge, a premier destination for exotic and whitetail hunting.

Attendees at the show can register to win the hunt at Booth A18 in three ways: a membership to ADWA, membership to the Exotic Wildlife Association or a $50 donation to the EWA’s Save the Species Fund, a special effort to preserve the legal hunting status of the Scimitar-Horned Oryx, Addax and Dama Gazelle antelope and many other exotics like Blackbuck and Axis deer.

“The Dallas Safari Club show has set the standard for sporting enthusiasts from around the world and we’re very excited to participate this year,” says John Meng, president of ADWA. “Working to grow the industry is a vital mission of ADWA, and I’m confident that the sportsmen at this show will be sympathetic to helping to preserve these rare antelope species.”

ADWA partners with companies and organizations within the deer and wildlife industry to promote products, services, membership benefits and overall growth of the industry through youth and public education. Serving as a ’PR engine’ for its members, ADWA combines the benefits of marketing and education to inspire credibility among consumers and unity within the industry, and ADWA now broadcasts public policy messages to millions of households via the Outdoor Channel network. ADWA is also the title sponsor of Keith Warren’s Deer & Wildlife Stories program, airing on the Pursuit Channel later this month.
