EADS, Colo. - Women and girls interested in the sports of fishing, archery and shotgun shooting are invited to attend a one-day free event at the Kiowa Creek Natural Area, just south of Eads, on Sat., Sept. 25.

"This is a great opportunity for women and girls to learn how to improve their outdoor skills and have fun," said Linda Groat, and education specialist with the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

The event is sponsored by the DOW, Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation, Eads Chamber of Commerce, and the Central Kiowa Recreation District

The sponsors will provide the lunch and furnish the equipment.
