ADWA Partners with Young Hunters Unlimited

2011-11-29

AUSTIN, Texas — The American Deer & Wildlife Alliance® (ADWA) welcomes Young Hunters Unlimited of Henrietta, Texas, as its newest member organization. Young Hunters Unlimited (YHU) joined the ADWA and the two organizations will work together to introduce more children to the benefits of the outdoors.

“We are excited to be working with Young Hunters Unlimited and to support their efforts in providing new hunting and outdoor opportunities for children,” says John Meng, president of the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance. “More of our children are disconnected from nature than ever before in our history, but by working with the YHU and other organizations, businesses and individuals, we can introduce more children to the outdoors and better preserve our American outdoors traditions.”

Young Hunters Unlimited is a Christian-based 501c(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to introducing the youth to hunting and all aspects of the outdoors. YHU provides guided no-cost hunting opportunities to children in a safe, encouraging, and enthusiastic environment while teaching basic outdoor skills.
